We were overjoyed to learn about Coca-Cola's 5by20 program which addresses the most common barriers women face when trying to succeed in the marketplace. In addition to access to market, this initiative offers women access to business skills training courses, financial services, and connections with peers or mentors — along with the confidence that comes with building a successful business.
By 2020 Coca-Cola has pledged to help five million women entrepreneurs around the globe by allowing them to earn money through its value chain. That means that women learn valuable business skills and providing women with opportunities to support their families by creating products with Coca-Cola packaging helping women start their own small businesses.
